Youkilis ends his errorless run as a first baseman today, setting the big league record at 238 games. The record is now a fixed number, not one that goes up on each passing game. It will take him over another year to be able to challenge his own record.
Youkilis had a great run. If it took 87 years to beat the original record, I wonder if we'll all be turned to dust by the time someone else breaks it.
There's a cheery thought on a Sunday morning!

Nah. Youk is still a pretty young guy in the world of professional baseball. And a hard worker. I'm hoping he'll continue his performance and work to start a new run of errorless games, even if it doesn't break his existing record.
